To share the farm with those who may benefit!

Welcome

“Wow Wow Wow”

In 2018 I was voted Northern Farmer of the Year at an awards ceremony in Yorkshire showground in front of over 400 farmers and industry leaders. I was so shocked that my acceptance speech was comprised of the three words you read above.

Simon Britton of George F White who presented the award said he was ‘blown away’ by what had been achieved at the farm. That is a feeling I often experience now as I see what the directors, staff and volunteers are accomplishing on the farm.

Our mission is the same as it always was – to share the farm with those who may benefit. We believe passionately that working in the countryside, engaging with nature, and building friendships with others here at the farm can be enormously beneficial.

I could go on… and on, but I will end by saying thank you for reading this and I hope that the farm may be of benefit to you also.

How can we help

I would like to…

…visit the farm with my class

We offer schools and teaching establishments a unique learning experience. Our exceptional facilities and resources enable us to deliver and design educational visits that are especially tailored to meet curriculum specifications.

…plan a party or group visit

We host children’s parties and other events. The possibilities are endless
with the facilities we have and the
team are very happy to discuss any special requests with you to make
your child’s party that extra special.

…learn more about alternative provision

We work in partnership with education providers and with young people if
they are experiencing challenges that prevent them from reaching their potential within traditional educational settings.
